In today’s world, where creativity has become an essential driver of innovation, the boundaries between art, design, and entrepreneurship are fading. The Creative Business Cup (CBC) stands at the heart of this transformation — a global initiative that celebrates and empowers creative entrepreneurs who turn ideas into impact.
Held annually with participants from more than 80 countries, CBC is more than just a competition. It’s a platform that connects startups in design, fashion, gaming, media, and digital culture with investors, mentors, and policy makers from around the world. Its mission is to strengthen the creative economy and spotlight the role of imagination in building sustainable growth.
In Türkiye, the national competition is organized under the Create in İzmir project, led by İzmir University of Economics. The Creative Business Cup Türkiye Finals 2025 took place online on 29 August, gathering creative startups from across the country. Each team presented its project before a distinguished jury, sharing ideas that blended artistic vision with entrepreneurial ambition.
The winning project, Kami, impressed the jury with its innovative approach that combines creative technology and storytelling. Kami successfully represented Türkiye at the Creative Business Cup Global Finals 2025, held in Copenhagen between 14–16 September. CBC provides long-term value for participants through mentorship, investor matchmaking, global exposure, and access to international markets. It has become a bridge between creativity and business, showing that the creative economy is not limited by geography — it thrives on collaboration, culture, and the courage to experiment.
Through its partnership with CBC, Create in İzmir continues to strengthen Türkiye’s creative entrepreneurship landscape, connecting local talent with the world.
Because in the end, creativity is not only about inspiration — it’s about sharing ideas that have the power to change how we live, work, and imagine the future.
