Through creative approach, we contribute to the transformation and strengthening of Izmir’s economy.

We combine creative products, services, and processes resulting from the interaction of local creativity and cultural elements with those of other cultures.

CREATE IN IZMIR

The project aims to create an entrepreneurial ecosystem among creative and cultural, manufacturing and tourism sectors to foster innovative and creative economic development.

Over the 30 months, the Project will result in:

● Establish, develop and strengthen a Digital Creative Hub

● Improvement in innovative product development capacity of entrepreneurs,

● Establishment of link between CCIs, manufacturing industry and tourism sector,

● Promotion of the Digital Creative Hub and Creative Entrepreneurial Ecosystem

The project is carried out by Izmir University of Economics. It focuses on IT/Software, Design, Cinema/Television and other creative industries supporting Digital Gaming and Digital Arts and includes the entire Aegean Region, togeather with Izmir, Aydın, Denizli, Afyon, Uşak, Manisa, Kütahya and Muğla.

PROJECT IDENTITY

CREATE IN IZMIR: The Cultural and Creative Industries Digital Entrepreneurship Centre Project is carried out by Izmir University of Economics in partnership with EGIAD, Izmir Foundation and IZKA. The project is financed by the European Union and the Republic of Türkiye within the framework of financial cooperation and implemented under the Competitive Sectors Programme implemented by the Ministry of Industry and Technology.
